about The Inkman....

I support common sense values and ideas with the political independence to do what is right because it is the right thing to do. I appreciate that if one is truly to know the virtue of success he must have the courage to risk failure.

President Abraham Lincoln personified this ideal when he spoke these profound words:
"You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves."

And again reinforced by the great abolitionist, Frederick Douglas, in his 1886 speech on the 24th anniversary of Emancipation, "Where justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is in an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob, and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe".
